Logan Hubble Park

Located off of Highway 27, the 400-acre nature park includes wildlife habitats, nearly 2 miles of walking trails, a 12-acre fishing lake, outdoor class room, basketball courts, playground facilities, a volley ball court, and picnic areas. A new, handicap accessible fishing dock will be open on the lake in June, 2009 thanks to a grant from Kentucky Fish and Wildlife.

A horse camp facility is available with 6 electricity hookups for campers with showers and restrooms.

Four different shelters are available for $50 to anybody who needs them for special occasions. To reserve one call (859) 792-3531.

In conjunction with the Garrard Fiscal Court and Diane Prather, the new Logan-Hubble play area had a grand opening in October 2008 dedicated to the memory of Neal B. Prather. In addition to the playground shown, the park includes a two bay swing set for children to enjoy.
